Whitney’s NYC Pad

I don’t know about you all, but I have been glued to my television set the past two Monday nights watching Whitney Port’s new Hills spinoff entitled The City. I must admit that the show has been quite lackluster and nowhere near as enthralling as The Hills, but I just can’t help myself. I have to tune in! 🙂 I am hoping that like wine, the show will get better with age. And it looks like I am not the only one holding out hope – apparently Page Six Magazine is calling Whitney the new Carrie Bradshaw. I don’t know about that one. I mean don’t they know that I want to be the new Carrie Bradshaw? 🙂 LOL

Anyway, reader Virginie just posted a comment on my site with a link to this Curbed article about Whitney Port’s new New York digs. LOVE IT! Thanks Virginie! 🙂 While I was in New York this past December I kept saying to my boyfriend that I wished The City had premiered before our trip so that I could stalk where Whitney was living. Turns out, I needn’t have worried. Someone stalked it for me! 🙂 And they did a very good job of it, too! Apparently the building shown on The City as Whitney’s pad, is not really where she lives at all. Nice try, MTV, but you can’t fool us stalkers! 🙂 Whitney’s real apartment building is called The Elektra and is located in Gramercy Park. The Elektra boasts an upscale lobby, state of the art gym, and a sky deck complete with chaise lounges, sweeping views of NYC, and a misting shower. 🙂 Can’t wait to go to New York again so I can stalk this building for myself!
