By the way, firefighters are also tremendous people to ask when looking for a location. I’ve often narrowed a geographical area, and then popped in to a local firehouse to ask. They usually know the location because they needed to be informed in case their was an emergency, and they also have little vested interest in ‘not telling you’. This is how I found the set from Little House in the Prairie years ago. I knew it was in Simi Valley but the rest was a mystery. One visit to a firehouse and 30 seconds later (literally) we were on our way.
