Casa Vega from “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”One of the things I most appreciate about Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the lengths director Quentin Tarantino went to portray an authentic 1960s-era Los Angeles onscreen. To that end, he featured several local historic restaurants from the time that are, thankfully, still around today, including Musso and Frank Grill, El Coyote, and Casa Vega. The latter is a spot I am very familiar with. I’ve dined at the Sherman Oaks landmark several times over the years and even blogged about it once […]

About Me
I am a struggling actress, who like most of America, is completely obsessed with all things celebrity! During my down time, I love finding movie filming locations and my favorite celebs’ homes. Everyone kept telling me I needed to either start a Hollywood tour company or a blog, so here I am. :) I have lived in LaLaLand for over a decade now, during which time I have accumulated a vast knowledge of filming locations from TV shows, movies and reality shows. It’s time I shared that knowledge with the world!
I am just slightly obsessed with Kristin Cavallari, Michael Buble, and Matt Lanter and I cannot live without a few daily Starbucks’ Iced Lattes and US Magazine.

Pete’s House from “Bridesmaids”Speaking of Cameron Woods (in case you missed Monday’s post, you can read it here) . . . while wandering around the neighborhood recently I was reminded of a spot that I stalked long ago but had yet to blog about – the house belonging to Pete (Brian Petsos) in the 2011 comedy Bridesmaids. As mentioned Monday, the quarter-mile stretch of Orion Avenue in Van Nuys that makes up Cameron Woods is easily one of the most charming and oft-filmed spots in L.A. Per a […]
TV Locations
Tilly’s House from “Flaked”I never thought I’d say I’m in love with a gate, but here we are. Back in March 2016, my Los Angeles magazine editor assigned me a piece chronicling the locations from the then-new Netflix series Flaked. I got to work researching right away and one spot immediately stood out among the rest – the manse belonging to Chip’s (Will Arnett) estranged wife, Tilly (Heather Graham). Or I should say the gate of the manse belonging to Chip’s estranged wife, Tilly. The shiny blue wall […]
Celebrity Sightings
My Day on the Set of “The Goldbergs”I debated titling this post “How The Goldbergs altered my Thanksgiving.” The Grim Cheaper and I were introduced to the ABC series, which is like an ‘80s-set The Wonder Years, last fall and quickly became hooked. We plowed through all of the episodes in just a few weeks and found each to be poignant, nostalgic and moving. One in particular affected us more than others, though. While watching Season 2’s “A Goldberg Thanksgiving,” in which matriarch Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) attempts to impart her holiday meal […]
Celebrity Homes
JFK and Jackie’s Former Georgetown HomesConsidering how much I love history, I know shockingly little about former President John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline. So I was thrilled when the Grim Cheaper gifted me with Jackie, Janet & Lee: The Secret Lives of Janet Auchincloss and Her Daughters Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Lee Radziwill last Christmas. The 2018 biography and its depiction of the women’s intensely complicated relationships with each other as well as with their significant others was fascinating all the way through. And it even reminded me […]
This and That
Entertainment Recommendations to Beat the Shelter-at-Home BluesThese definitely are some uncertain, scary times, to say the least. The one silver lining to my dad’s recent hospital stay is that I binged a lot of TV, read quite a few books and listened to a bunch of podcasts, which means I have a slew of new entertainment favorites to share with my fellow stalkers. I hope that these recommendations make your self-quarantines a bit more enjoyable and bring some laughs, smiles and distractions in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please take […]
