  1. Hello Lindsay!!
A belated Happy New Year! ^-^

So, yesterday I watched (again!) the movie “We need to talk about Kevin”. I looked for the whole movie filming locations, but I failed πŸ˜€ .
You’ve found lots of filming locations, and I was wondering if you can help me with this one πŸ˜€ !

    Thank you!!!

  2. Hello Lindsay! I was wondering where did they film, Celebrity Fit Club? They also filmed a Maroon Five video there as well. I have searched and searched, it does not mention it anywhere on the internet! Help! Thank you.

  3. hi I am like a really big fan of Taylor swift and I challenge you to “stalk” her New York apartment I really want to know where she lives exactly (thanks). Also I live in Colorado and I was wondering if you have like any places popular movies were filmed. Thank you. πŸ™‚

    1. And i am also going to Seattle and Im a HUGE fan of grey’s anatomy and I was wondering if there was any other places I can “stalk” In Seattle where grey’s anatomy is filmed.

      1. Grey’s Anatomy is filmed on Prospect Studios in Los Angeles, not in Seattle. They only use areal shots of Seattle for the opening shots. And only few of the ferry boat scenes were actually filmed on location in Seattle. All of the interior scenes are filmed on the Prospect Studios (4151 Prospect Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027).

  4. Hello, Lindsay!

Just back from L.A. and had a fabulous time! Went to the “Punky Brewster” apartment building and it was so surreal. Thank you again for finding it for me! My next challenge has a video that accompanies it. I am also a huge fan of “Knots Landing” (visiting the cul-de-sac was indescribable) and was wondering if you could please find for me the home of the Fisher’s, the couple that illegally adopt Valene Ewing’s twins?

    Thank you very much!

  5. Hey Lindsey! I’ve been living in LA for almost 10months now and I’m trying to stalk (just a little bit;)) Robert Downey Jr – I’m a huuuuge fan! Have you ever seen him? If not, I challenge you to stalk him πŸ™‚

  6. Not really a challenge, but have you had a chance to check out the documentary Los Angeles Plays Itself? It was made back in 2003, but was finally released on DVD and blu-ray a few weeks ago. The narrator is a bit of a downer about the city and how it has been portrayed in film, but there’s a ton of great information in there. You’ve already posted about many of the locations featured in it, but it might inspire a stalk or two.

  7. Love the website by the way!

Kind of a fun challenge for you. “Married with Children” aired an episode entitled “The Unnatural”. At the end of the episode, Al Bundy is playing centerfield in a softball game set in Illinois (cameo by Ian Ziering as well). However, the research that I’ve done indicates that this was an actual softball game with Married With Children crew, so it’s somewhere in the L.A. area. Would you be able to locate this field? A link to the episode is below. The scene starts at about the 21 minute mark. I’m hoping the mountains in the backdrop of the field, and the yellow building behind the bleachers, would be a good hint.

    Thanks!

  8. Hi Lindsay!!
I’m planing a trip out to LA in a few weeks, doing some location “stalking” and I was wondering if you might be able to help me with this LA/Sherman Oaks location. The location I’m looking for is a “trendy” clothing store that’s in a music video by The Saturdays “What About Us”. I do know a few of the locations that I’am visiting from the video are on Ventura Blvd, so I was thinking, maybe, the store they go into (about :30 into the video) is near The Infield and the House of Billiards on Ventura Blvd. Thanks you so much if you get to this!!

Just to save time looking it up, here’s the video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6YLi0GNBTk

  9. HI! This might really be a tuff one–set the way back machine to the 1980’s and put your “romantic-detective” hat on, ’cause my search is for a location used in the t.v. series “Remington Steele”. Season 2, ep. 28 “Love Among The Steele”. Near the end, a 1936 Auburn Roadster is parked in the middle of an inlaid, circular “courtyard”, with a concrete gazebo in the near background, and a view of L.A. in the distant background. Now, I grew up in L.A. and for the life of me I do not recognize this location. I do remember a Chanel No.5 commercial using this same location many, many years ago. Any “clues” would be greatly appreciated! Of course, the exact location would help me get some much needed sleep! Thx!!! πŸ™‚

  10. Hi Lindsay, loved your piece on the Monrovia train station where The Trouble With Angels was partially filmed. Do you have any plans to cover Where Angels Go Trouble Follows? It’s one of my all-time favorites. Thank you πŸ™‚

  11. Hola, Lindsay!

Your old pal Charles here! Me and my fiancΓ© are planning a trip to Vegas in November with a day trip to L.A. to visit scads of L.A. locations that we both want to geek out over. I’m writing you for two reasons. One, Justin is a HUGE fan of “Saved By the Bell” and would LOVE to know the place where Zack and Kelly got married in “Saved By The Bell: Wedding In Vegas,” and, two, I was wondering if you had a really great, high quality, original photo of the Walsh house from “90210” that I could create a postcard from. We want to send it to his friend who is also a huge “90210” fan from the actual 90210 post office (just to achieve that effect of having the post office stamp 90210 on it).

Thank you SO MUCH for your help in advance! I also plan on visiting the “Punky Brewster” apartment building that you found at my request!

    Thank you,
    Charles

  12. Hey! You should do the Brady bunch house. I saw that you did the houses the lived in before they got married but the Brady house would be cooler. Also the drake and josh house haha

  14. Hi, Lindsay. Sent you a little challenge by email (with fuller details). Looking for the exact location of FRED’s on Rodeo Drive, as it appeared briefly in Pretty Woman. Thanks !

  15. Hello. I love your webpage. Can you tell me whats the name of the restaurant where Al Pacino dance tango in the movie “Scent of a Woman”? and whats the street where he drives the ferrari before the police stops him?? THANK YOU VERY MUCH

  16. Here’s one for ya… In the Modern Family episode “Diamond In The Rough” , Clare and Cam go to an empty lot and build a baseball field for Luke and Mannys Little League playoff game. Wondering where that empty lot is, and did they leave the field , or tear it down after filming.
