  1. Hello again! Wondering if you can find what the name of the actual bridge that was shown in the movie Ode to Billy Joe and where it is located? :0)

    1. Hi, I’m not familiar with that movie, but per Wikipedia, “The bridge featured in the film crossed the Yazoo River on County Road 512 near Sidon, Mississippi. It has since been demolished and replaced by a modern concrete span in 1987, with plaques at both the eastern and western ends commemorating the film.”

  2. Hi Lindsay-one of my favorite movies is Butterflies are Free with Goldie Hawn and throughout the movie there are so many wonderful locations shown in San Francisco. I actually found the address where the heart of the movie takes place (I did it all on my own-we share this skill! :0) and it is : 1355 Grant Ave. It’s like a fourplex over a bar now. But this little part of SF sure was something back in the early 70’s. Even the opening credits show the most interesting places. Sometimes you can see street names throughtout the movie. Wondering if maybe you can find where the location of the clothing store “Asparagus” was? Best of luck!

  3. The house from the 2011 children’s film “Judy Moody And The Not Bummer Summer” is located at 4222 Agnes Avenue in Studio City. However, only the front exterior was used. The interior of the Moody house was a set built at Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood and the backyard scenes were filmed at a different house in South Pasadena (I don’t know the address for that one)

  4. Hiya Lindsay! Thank you so much for this fantastic website! I live in LA and LOVE visiting all of the Parks and Rec locations, however there is one I just haven’t been able to find. Do you have any ideas as to where the famous Ron Swanson “Give me all the bacon and eggs you have” scene was filmed?

    1. Also, the home’s real life interior was utilized in the pilot, but when the series got picked up, a set re-creation of the interior was built on a soundstage at Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank where the show is lensed

  5. Hey
Any idea where the ballet studio from the show American Housewife is? My hunch is somewhere in North Hollywood but no idea where.
    Thanks!

  6. This is probably impossible, but how about the grocery store parking lot from the first season opening credits of “Valerie”? I know you already found the house, but are there any other locations from that show that you can find? I’d really like to see more 80’s/90’s sitcom locations!

    1. My friend Michael and I have been looking for that one. Haven’t had any luck as of yet, but we’re on it! 🙂 And thanks for the suggestion! Always love hearing more of what readers want – especially since my husband always tells me I need to be more topical. Looks like people really like the vintage locales, though. 🙂

      1. Thanks for the quick response! I’ve been watching a lot of my favorite old shows on AntennaTV over the last few years (love that channel!) and just wishing we could all go back to what feels like simpler times. Sitcoms from the 80’s are such a guilty pleasure for me. Another location I’d be curious to see if you could find is the office building from the opening credits of Small Wonder. Keep up the great work!

  7. Where was the opening scene in Commando filmed? It’s the scene where two hit men disguised as garbage men assassinate Lawson. I don’t see a way to upload pictures on here. I uploaded them to IMDB’s photo gallery so they’ll be online tomorrow (December 26, 2018). I’ll send you the links.

  8. WHere is Adam’s house from “No Strings Attached” I believe its in Los Feliz but I’m not sure. Would score me major points with the wife if you knew this.

  9. Hey Lindsay!!

Love Love love your site!!! Ok Wayne’s world! The first one! Do u know the place they shot the scene at that tiki bar that has surf boards as tables? It was also in Back to the Beach with Annette Funicello And Frankie Avalon

  10. Hi, thank you for a wonderful website. Do you do filming locations for Tv series? One in particular was my favourite, called Hart to Hart. Or filming locations for The Shawshank Redemption?

    1. Glad you like it. 🙂 I do cover TV locations. They can be viewed via the “TV Locations” link on the right hand side of my site or via this link. I don’t have any Shawshank posts, but there are quite a few “Hart to Hart” ones which can be found by searching for “Hart to Hart” in the search tab at the top right of my site.

  11. Hi Lindsay, just want to say love your site.

Would you happen to know any good ways to finds tips on finding non profit events that feature celebrities?

    1. Thanks! I’m not sure about nonprofit events. I do post some on my website on the Upcoming Celebrity Events page, but it is just as I come across them via various sources online.

  12. Do you know any information on set locations for the movie “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” being filmed right now?

  13. I was wondering if you knew where the filming locations were for The Bad News Bears (1976). I know the baseball diamonds were set in Southern California… you can see signs in the movie which read North Valley League.

  14. Hi Lindsay. Great website. I am new to LA and when I was a kid I loved the opening theme song to Moonlighting – I think it’s the greatest song/visual opening of a TV show ever.

When I re-watch the opening on YouTube I don’t recognize any of the scenes. Would it be possible for you to help ID what some of them are? I am particularly interested in the very last shot showing an LA avenue with at sunset with tall building in background (I think billboard on top said Union Bank) and all the streetlights are green.

    Thank.

    1. Hi there,
I just took a look at the credits and some of the places I recognize are the Nuart Theatre (11272 Santa Monica Boulevard, Sawtelle), Realm boutique (425 Gin Ling Way, Chinatown), and the buildings with the fountains are the Century Plaza Towers (2029 and 2049 Century Park East, Century City). I am not sure about the building in the final shot. It does look like it says Union Bank, but I am not sure where it is located. I’ll keep digging and let you know if I figure anything out.
      Happy Stalking :),

  15. I see you have many posts from the Paramount Studio tours. So I hope you might be able to answer my question. My friend and I are traveling to LA next month, and have a day set aside to head to the Studios (we met cuz we both LOVE NCIS: LA, lol). But we are trying to decide between the “regular” tour and the VIP, have you done both and is one the VIP one worth 3x the price? I’d appreciate any suggestions. =D

    1. I’ve never done the VIP tour, but a couple of friends have and they absolutely loved it. That being said, though, the regular tour is fabulous – the best in LA. I would recommend doing that one for your first visit as you’ll really see a lot (and save a lot of money) and if it isn’t in-depth enough for you or if you just want to see even more, you can do the VIP one the next time you are in town. Hope that helps. 🙂
      Happy Stalking :),
