  1. Hi Lindsay. What a great site. I stumbled upon it looking at the GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN location pics. I was Lee Montgomery’s stand in on the film so it was nice to see all the old locations. I was new in town when I landed this job so finding these locations (pre internet) was difficult sometimes!! A great experience though. Thank you for posting the locations!!

  2. Hi there! Like everyone here, I love to look up filming locations. For me, it’s like solving a puzzle.

The movie I have worked hardest on finding locations is “Maybe I’ll Come Home in the Spring” (TV 1971) with Sally Field, David Carradine and Jackie Cooper. The budget must have been incredibly tight. Most of the filming was done within one square mile of Sherman Oaks, CA!

I added my address finds to the movie title file on IMDB. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066062/locations?ref_=ttfc_ql_5

The street scenes kept the camera angle fairly narrow. There is barely an identifier to be found. Add to this the fact that the movie is over 50 years old now.

Most of all, I wanted to say that the name of your website I Am Not a Stalker – is pure genius! Because a stalker is just about how I feel as I wend my way through streets and houses on Google Maps. I am super relieved to learn that I’m not the only one! 🙂

  3. Hi Lindsay,

I couldn’t get the contact form to work but I wanted to reach out to see if you would be open to being a guest on my LA themed podcast. I would love to talk to you about filming locations from Garry Marshall’s Valentine’s Day.

  4. Hi,

A lot of people I know have made moves to new towns and even new states over the last year. On top of that, several of them have done so because they thought it would be a great place not only to raise a family, but start a business.

This gave me an article idea for your site: a guide on why your city is a great place to start or move a business.

Is this something that interests you? I wouldn’t charge anything for this article, so be sure to let me know if I can put together a draft for your review.

    Thank you,
    Monica

  6. Hi, Lindsay. My name is Rita Albuquerque. Congratulations on your dedication and persistence in finding filming locations, I love knowing where my favorite movies were filmed. I recently did a search for filming locations for the movie “The Midnight Hour” from 1985, this movie stayed in my memory and is considered a classic of the 80’s horror movies, which also mixes comedy. Here’s a youtube link with thousands of people commenting on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCU_vEuZH3g.

It would be wonderful if you could publish these filming locations on your website, “The Midnight Hour” fans would be grateful for that. Pitchford Cuve is a fictional town. I’m not sure, but I think Pitchford Cuve town square equals Stars Hollow town square in “Gilmore girls”at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California, there’s a lot of similarity in details like the church, the bandstand and the buildings.

Phil Grenville’s house is the same house used in the “Still Life” episode of “The Twilight Zone” (1986) at 150 N Myrtle Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016. Judge Crandall’s house is the back of Phil Grenville’s house, but is shown in the film as if it were two different houses.

I didn’t find Melissa Cavender’s house, but I see a great resemblance in the facade of Melissa’s house to the Delta Lambda Zeta Sorority House of Scream 2 (350 South Grand Avenue, Pasadena).

I also didn’t find Vinnie Davis’ house, the house in Elm st. with Maple st. where Sandy Matthews old house used to be, the rock bench where Sandy is sitting, the train station where Phil and Sandy meet for the first time, the street where Sandy challenges the driver of another car to a race with the Phil, the cinema, the police station, the cemetery, the place where Sandy dances with Phil, the lake where Phil and Sandy are attacked by a monster.

    I await response, bye.
