Art’s Delicatessen & Restaurant from “Beverly Hills, 90210: Exposed!”

They say you should always listen to your mother.  It’s good advice.  Case in point – about a decade ago, while stalking in Studio City, my mom, my dad, the Grim Cheaper and I passed by Art’s Delicatessen & Restaurant on Ventura Boulevard and decided to pop in for a bite.  During our meal, my mom encouraged me to take photos of the place as she figured it had likely been utilized for filming at some point or had a celebrity connection.  I spent the […]

    About Me

I am a struggling actress, who like most of America, is completely obsessed with all things celebrity! During my down time, I love finding movie filming locations and my favorite celebs’ homes. Everyone kept telling me I needed to either start a Hollywood tour company or a blog, so here I am. :) I have lived in LaLaLand for over a decade now, during which time I have accumulated a vast knowledge of filming locations from TV shows, movies and reality shows. It’s time I shared that knowledge with the world!

I am just slightly obsessed with Kristin Cavallari, Michael Buble, and Matt Lanter and I cannot live without a few daily Starbucks’ Iced Lattes and US Magazine.

South Pasadena Public Library from “Say Anything . . . “

I was incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of John Mahoney last week.  Not only did I love the actor in pretty much every role he played, but his Hollywood story is such an unusual and admirable one.  After graduating from college, Mahoney tried his hand at a few different occupations including teaching English at a university and editing a medical journal.  Then at the not-so-tender age of 37, he switched gears and decided to follow his passion – acting.  He found quick success […]

Bookstar from “Beverly Hills, 90210”

I have certainly been revisiting the past lately, as evidenced here, here, and here.  Maybe it has something to do with nostalgia hitting me after our recent move.  Whatever the reason, here I am yet again with yet another redux.  Today’s locale is a favorite, one that I originally covered in May 2008 – Bookstar, a former-theatre-turned-Barnes-&-Noble in Studio City.  Back in 1991, when the venue was operating as Mann’s Studio Theatre, Dylan McKay (Luke Perry) took Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty) there for their first […]

My Day on the Set of “The Goldbergs”

I debated titling this post “How The Goldbergs altered my Thanksgiving.”  The Grim Cheaper and I were introduced to the ABC series, which is like an ‘80s-set The Wonder Years, last fall and quickly became hooked.  We plowed through all of the episodes in just a few weeks and found each to be poignant, nostalgic and moving.  One in particular affected us more than others, though.  While watching Season 2’s “A Goldberg Thanksgiving,” in which matriarch Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) attempts to impart her holiday meal […]

Richard Simmons’ House

I, along with the rest of the world, became absolutely transfixed by the first season of Serial, the 2014 podcast hosted by Sarah Koenig which detailed the murder of Baltimore teenager Hae Min Lee and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed for the killing.  Not only did the Grim Cheaper and I listen to the entire thing three times through, but we also voraciously devoured Truth and Justice (née Serial Dynasty) and Undisclosed, two of Serial’s unaffiliated offshoots that further investigated the crime.  […]

We’re Moving!

As I mentioned in Monday’s post, the Grim Cheaper and I are moving this week.  (Hopefully we won’t have any moments like this!)  So blog posts will likely be few and far between over the next couple of weeks until we get settled.  Hopefully I’ll be back up and running sooner rather than later, though!
Until next time, Happy Stalking!
