  1. Hi Lindsay love your site! for the life of me, I
been trying to find the practice location of Dancing with the stars I know they use to be on the 3rd street but they are now some where off Santa Monica blvd!! Help LOL =)

    1. ok the front of the building is 1025 N. McCadden Pl. in Los Angeles. However, you would need to turn down the alleyway and follow it to the back of the building and the lot is where they enter and enter through on the show and in pictures. hope this helps. πŸ™‚

  2. Hey Lindsay!
I love your site and visit it all of the time. I couldn’t find any posts on Pretty Little Liars though. I know that most of it is filmed at Warner Bros Studios in Burbank, but I was wondering if you knew of any other filming locations, such as the high school used for filming, etc. Thanks!!

    1. The Rosewood High School exterior is also at the Warner Brothers studio’s. The inside of the school is within the sound stages and the church is also at warner brothers, i don’t think much if anything on PLL is filmed outside of warner brothers studio’s.
I have been quite a few times to the set to know all this πŸ˜€ You can also have your picture in front of the school on the steps.

      1. OMG.. so i am a DIE HARD PLL fan. How did you get on the set? I NEEEEED to do this! Plz give me all the info u have! have you ever met any of them?

  3. Hey Lindsay! πŸ™‚

I’ve been watching “The Colony” the teality tv show and it takes place in LA. I challenge you to find the warehouse and small community it takes place at! I know you’re not in LA anymore but when you come back it’s such a cool show, very psychological. Hope to hear from you soon!

    1. I tracked down the rest of the Teen Witch locations a while back. Louise’s house is at 245 S Irving Blvd in Hancock Park. Randa’s house is directly across the street at 244 S Irving Blvd.

The high school featured in the film is Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale and the “Top That” dance scene was filmed just around the corner near the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Olmsted Drive.

  4. Great site! A friend of mine recently told me that some of the opening scenes in “Lady Sings The Blues” were shot in Los Feliz. Being a Los Feliz resident myself, I was very curious about this but couldn’t find any info online. I leave it in your capable hands.

  5. Hi Lindsay,

On “Baywatch” Mitch Buchannon lived in a lovely little cottage right on the water and I really would like to know where it exists in the world.

If you go to this video on youtube com/watch?v=f65DRfo3Qg8 and go to the 4 minute 30 second mark (about 4:33) then you will see the house I am referring to.

I think it may just be on a soundstage, but I have always been very curious if it was an actual house somewhere because I love how it is right against the water!

Hopefully you know something of it!

    Thanks,
    Michelle

    1. That house is located at 469 Sherman Canal, on the Venice Canals, in Venice. I’ve actually stalked it before, but have yet to blog it. πŸ™‚
      Happy Stalking :),
      Lindsay

      1. Oh my word, thank you SO SO SO much!!! I have searched for such a long time and had never managed to find the house!! So excited that it exists and it’s less than 10 miles from my place!!! Cannot wait to visit and fulfill a childhood dream lol!!

Thanks again Lindsay! You are incredible!

        1. Awww that is so sweet. I’m happy to help! πŸ™‚ It was actually my friend Mike, from MovieShotsLA, who told me where the house was. I’ll be blogging it soon. Question – I never watched Baywatch, so I don’t know much about the location. Was it used throughout the entire series as Mitch’s house, or just for a few seasons?

          1. It was used throughout the entire series. Well, technically only until season 9, but I would consider that the entire “Baywatch” series, because seasons 10 and 11 were when the show became “Baywatch: Hawaii” so Mitch moved to Hawaii and obviously couldn’t live in the same house! But while the show took place in SoCal for 9 seasons, this was the house featured.

  6. omg just discovered your website and I fell in love with it , it helped my vacation in Pasadena : ) anyways my question when you went to visit the location we’re they filmed the prom scene for twilight could you walk up the drive way ? and also have you gone to the house that was used in enough with Jennifer lopez I guess it would be the home that slim and mitch first purchased ?? thanks a bunch xoxo

    1. Hi there! On July 18,2012, Lindsay posted about the Enough house. Its a great post! Her post is labeled: Mitch Hiller’s House from β€œEnough”

    Thanks!

  8. Dear Lindsay,

I was trying to find a filming location of a large red brick house that was featured in the 7th series of 24, when Los Angeles was doubling for Washington DC. It looks like a large L shaped building somewhere in a neighbourhood with a lot of trees – pictures of the house http://images.wikia.com/24/images/c/ca/9-mayer-house.jpg and a wider shot http://postimg.org/image/dpeyxyqlb/. The house across the street looks like this http://postimg.org/image/9deu4zv4l/ if that helps. I just wondered if you recognised this building from your location stalking! Many thanks!

    1. Question – I read through the message board you linked to and several people mentioned an interview with Paul Fusco in which he mentions that the house is in Pacific Palisades. Do you know which interview they are referring to? I’d like to see/read it.

      1. no, I was looking for this interview too but no luck. I asked the production designer from the show (he is retired now) but he couldnt help. Hard to find any contacts – so long ago.

  9. Hello! I love your site because I am a sucker for filming locations. I would like to challenge you to find the apartment building from one of my all-time favorite shows, “Punky Brewster”!

  10. Hi,

Love your site. I was wondering if you could help me. On the show Keeping up with the Kardashians I noticed they use a fake exterior shot for Khloe and Lamar’s house. The real address for their home is 19011 Ashurst Lane, but is not the house they show on their show. Do you know where the exterior shot of the home they use is located?

  11. Do you know where the house and school used on Two of a Kind is located? I’m guessing it’s on the WB lot but I can’t figure out exactly where.

  12. not really a challenge more of a heads up .

in the office theres an episode where they walk into i believe its a sales pitch or to catch up with a customer…

anywho the building where the ep was shot is 14546 Hamlin St van nuys Ca

you’ll recognize the blue rail steps steve and john walk down and spend some time there… HAVE FUN

  13. Can you find the houses used in the 1968 Elvis film “Live a little, Love a little.” I saw a youtube video on one of the houses but they did not give the location

  14. Do you know where the Lincoln state from 90210 that Annie kissed? I’ve been trying to find it for a while now but I can’t find an exact location. All I’m getting is that it is somewhere in Brentwood.

    1. I’m pretty sure that scene was shot at UCLA and that the Lincoln statue was a prop. I’ll see if I can find out for sure either way, though.

  15. Hi Lindsay do you know where the rite aid (I’m pretty sure thats what it is) where Jim and Pam went to in Michael’s Birthday episode where they are looking for gifts for Kevin because he might have cancer is?
