  2. Hi, just wondering where the opening shots of the house that’s shown in the sitcom ‘IN THE HOUSE’ (Debbie Allen and LL Cool J) is located. I grew up in Pasadena, CA and It looks very few familiar.

  4. Hey… I was wondering if you knew anything about where the tv show bates motel… Was filmed at? Thanks I’ll appreciate it. 🙂

  5. On the recent episode of Blackish; Super Rich Kids, the beautiful glass walked house. A shot was taken on blackish writers Twitter; https://twitter.com/blackishwriters/status/728083636302438400. My wife and I are having a debate if it is a real house or a set or some building. And is it next to water like in the episode, I know not everything can be digital background on tv anymore, please let this be real.

  6. Hi Lindsay! can you help me find out where matthew gray gubler lives? Ive heard that he lives in pasadena or altadena and douglas fairbanks used to owned that home. Thanks!

  7. I challenge you to find Matthew Gray Gublers house. I know he lives in Pasadena and the house was built by Douglas Fairbanks in 1927. Thanks!

  8. In the TV show Small Wonder in the opening credits they show a shot of the United Robotronics building where Ted works. I would love to know the location of that building, if it still stands, and what it really was/is. Ditto the other real-world locations seen in the opening credits. The series was filmed in Chicago so I assume that’s where the exteriors were filmed but maybe not? Thanks! -Paul.

    1. I’m pretty sure Small Wonder filmed in Los Angeles at the Fox TV Studios. At least that’s what IMDB says. Metromedia was based in LA, so it makes sense. I have been wondering where the opening credits were recorded for years. It looks very familiar to where I live in the Warner Center area of Woodland Hills, California, although I can’t completely narrow it down. This area was very different 30 years ago, and I am only 34 years old myself, so I have no way of really knowing. I have thought about asking Dick Christie on Twitter the question, but he has only posted once, and that was a while ago. Plus who knows if he even remembers.

  9. I often see productions – big and small – filming in my Los Angeles neighborhood. Is there an easy way to find out what it is? Occasionally I’ll get a notice on my door, or find something about it online, but otherwise I’m left wondering. And while most of my neighbors don’t care, I’m always dying to know! You can probably relate – LOL!

  10. For years, I’ve wanted to know the filming location of the music video for Dwight Yoakams “Ain’t That Lonely”. It looks like its a pretty rough area. My understanding is that Dwight moved to LA before really hitting it big.So theres a possibility that it was filmed there.
I’m also curious about the filming locations for Whitesnakes “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love”.

    1. Looks like the area East of downtown LA, between 4th and 6th street bridges near Alameda and Anderson Streets?. Lots of warehouses, railroad tracks and, of course, the LA River.

      1. Dang, your right. I just checked Google Maps and the bridge at 0:39 looks like an exact match of the 4th street bridge in the area you mentioned. Nice work!
