Hi Lindsay- did you ever see the movie “Lucas” back in the 80s:) Cory Haim and Charlie Sheen were in it… Anyway, I’ve always wondered where the home of Lucas’ love interest in the film actually is… Lucas rides his bike down the street in the neighborhood in which the home is located and it looks like a beautiful area…. Any ideas??

  8. Hi – would love if you stalked the Sowden House! Its quite amazing, has been the location of many films and has a long history. (some even beleive the black dahlia met her end there)

  11. THE OFFICE – we love this show does anyone know what building they use for Dunder Mifflin Paper Company? I’m hoping its in LA, but actually Scranton, PA would be closer to my house:) Any filming sites from the show would be great!

    1. The Office is shot at Chandler Valley Center Studios, 13927 Saticoy Street, Van Nuys, CA 91402. Google map it (street view) and you will see the actual exterior used. It is the exterior of the studio. Karate episode was filmed at Myung Kim Martial Arts, 13656 Burbank Blvd in Sherman Oaks. Pam breaks up with her fiance at the Hungry Fox, 13359 Sherman Way in Van Nuys. The “Chili’s” was actually an abandoned Black Angus restaurant at 14678 Roscoe Blvd in Panorama City. It has since been torn down. Pam and Jim’s wedding took place at Church of the Chimes, 14115 Magnolia Blvd in Sherman Oaks, CA. The hotel/reception was held at Smoke House Restaurant, 4420 West Lakeside Drive, Burbank, CA. They tend to film driving scenes on Chandler Blvd in Sherman Oaks (lots of Pine trees, very few palm trees,) Burbank Blvd (the basin area) in Encino, and Woodley Ave. (basin area) in Encino. Dwight’s farm is filmed at the Golden Oak Ranch in Valencia, CA. Jim and Dwight go on their tag-team sales call and walk into the office building at 6838 Van Nuys, Blvd. Van Nuys, CA. And Pam and Jim go to lunch with Phylis and Bob Vance at Barsac Brasserie, 4212 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA. I live in the area and recognize the locations all the time, and when they are filming they use “Dunder Mifflin” production trucks, so it’s pretty obvious.

        We live in Ohio and try to go to LA at least once a year! Me & my daughter are planning a trip in april and are going to go to all the office spots..only if they were filming in April…but i’m sure they’ll be finished with the season by then:(

  12. Does anyone know anything about the house where Far From Heaven was filmed? According to the DVD extra features film, the house actually exists in Hohokus, a small town in New Jersey – but I don’t know any more than that. Analyze That was also filmed in Hohokus.

    Does anyone know where the current residences are for Kim Kardashian (Condo in Beverly Hills), Kourtney Kardashian (townhouse) and Tori Spelling house in Encino? I have been trying to find out but no luck. I found Khloe’s house with Lamar and took pictures already but I still need to find these.

        Thanks so much for your help! I guess while you were replying to my question, I was spending hours researching these and much more. I did find exactly what you sent me and know exactly where to drive to now. I do have questions though, how do you know Kim is moving out right now and do you know what city or where she is moving to. She is not moving to New Orleans is she? Also, how did you find out it was wrong photo of Kourtney’s house? Thanks,

  14. Hi, Lindsay. Do you have any leads on the “Buy More” building from “Chuck”? The show says it is in Burbank, but I do not recognize any of the background shots, and I am sure the building next door, “Underpants Etc.” is a private joke. The building itself is nondescript–something you might see in the Valley. I am stumped, and do not have any contacts with the production company.

  20. SO I WAS WONDERING IF YOU KNEW THE ADDRESS THAT WAS USED IN “THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE” AS THE BARTELLS HOUSE ?? EVERYONE KNOWS THE BIG WHITE HOUSE FROM THE MOVIE. DR MOTTS HOUSE IS LOCATED AT 2502 37th Ave W, Seattle, Washington, USA . OF COURSE THIS IS THE MODERN LOOKING HOME WITH THE WEIRD TURTLE BORDER. LOL. WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE MAIN HOUSE FROM THIS MOVIE.
