Scarecrow and Mrs. King

I am a sucker for a grand staircase!  My affinity likely stems from the movie Titanic, which I was obsessed with back in the day.  Whatever the impetus, I am drawn to them like a moth to a flame.  Case in point – while researching the Surfridge neighborhood for this 2013 post, I was led […]

Some filming locations are maddeningly elusive.  One that remained a thorn in my side for ages was the mall where Janey Glenn (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Lynne Stone (Helen Hunt) shopped in Girls Just Want to Have Fun, which, for those who haven’t been paying attention over the years, is one of my all-time favorite […]

Had you asked me last week, I would have told you that I was an expert on both Pasadena and its filming history.  But something happened on Wednesday afternoon that rocked me to my stalking core.  While writing a blog post for Los Angeles magazine, I got on a bit of a Girls Just Want […]

Today’s post is going to be a long one, my fellow stalkers, so brace yourselves!  I hope that it makes up for the fact that I was on vacation for the past week.    Last October, while doing research on Mommie Dearest locations for my annual Haunted Hollywood postings, I came across a page on […]

Some locations I spend ages upon ages trying to track down only to discover that, when finally found, they had been listed on another website all along.  D’oh!  Such was the case with today’s locale.  I’ve mentioned before that Life Goes On is one of my all-time favorite television shows.  It is pretty common knowledge […]

One location that I had wanted to stalk pretty much ever since first moving to Southern California was the mansion where Roger Azarian (a pre-Friends Matthew Perry) lived in the Season 1 episode of fave show Beverly Hills, 90210 titled “April Is the Cruelest Month”.  So when fellow stalker Geoff, from the 90210Locations website, managed […]
