This should be an easy one to find I think.: What is the location for the “Visualize Self-Realization Center Church” where Bret Stiles is the leader?

I’ve been wondering that myself as it is such a cool building! Let me do some digging and see what I can come up with. 🙂
It turned out to be pretty easy to find after all. The Visualize Self-Realization Center Church is actually The Brandeis-Bardin Campus of the American Jewish University, a retreat located in Simi Valley, California. Apparently, lots of filming has been done there according to Wikipedia:

Hey Lindsay! I have a new Drew challenge for you. I recently watched the 1992 short-lived tv series she starred in called 2000 Malibu Road. All 6 episodes are on YouTube. The house at the title address is really neat and pretty distinct, I’m wondering if you’d be able to track it down! There are plenty of shots of the exteriors all throughout each episode.

I was reading in the LA Times this morning about the Cameron Woods area in Van Nuys and how Orion Avenue in that neighborhood is one of the most filmed streets in Los Angeles. They mention a few commercials and other productions, but it got me wondering if you’ve stalked it (or have it on your list) and if you know more about what has been filmed there.
I have stalked Orion. SUCH a cool street! I need to do a blog post on it. 🙂

I’ve been searching for Jimmy’s house (the character Quentin Tarantino played) from Pulp Fiction for ages. The internet doesn’t seem to know where it is. In the movie, it’s supposed to be in Toluca Lake. And it looks Toluca Lake-y but I haven’t been able to find it…and I’ve walked that entire little city.
Jimmy’s house is at 4507 Kraft Avenue in Studio City. 🙂
This is a hard one…. Do you know the actress who played “Puddin” on the “Child Care” episode of Leave it to Beaver? She is only listed as Gabrielle. It looks as if she could be Megan Fox, unfortunately, she was not born yet.

Oooh that’s a tough one. I will see what I can dig up. I would guess that they’ve already had the wrap party, though, as I think most shows have finished taping for the season. 🙁

How I Met Your Mother is filmed at Fox Studios and unfortunately that studio does not offer a tour. 🙁 I’ve been wanting to get in for years. 🙁

Love the site- OK- Disney’s The Kid- highly under rated film….Bruce Willis had an ultra modern house
that obviously was a studio interior- but scenes were filmed of a real exterior- and long gated drive-way.
Do you know the address of the house? The chase scene to Van Nuys Airport (I think) was filmed on Ventura by Laurel Canyon. Any other Kid locations appreciated (Biltmore for wedding?)I guarantee there are lots of coset KID fans- who aren’t married, not a pilot and don’t have a dpg…… Thanks!

Bruce Willis’ house is at 9405 Sierra Mar Place in West Hollywood. The chase scene was filmed near the Santa Monica airport on Airport Avenue. Bruce’s childhood home is at 24100 Archwood Street in West Hills. The church where the wedding was held is First Congregational Church, which I blogged about here. And the reception was at the Park Plaza Hotel at 607 South Park View in Los Angeles, although it does look like the Biltmore.

I have found tons of pictures of it on the internet but no exact address. 🙁 My son is leaving California in 2 weeks and I would love to take him by it, before he goes since he is such a huge fan! Lindsay, you need to go stalk Lindsay Lohan’s former house in Venice Beach! 419 Venice Way.
Love to stalk movie locations when I’m out of town as well. I have a challenge for you. In the beginning of the film “The Tree of LIfe” the main characters are in a Mid Century Modern House and get a telegram that their son has died. Then they show a shot of a tree lined street full of 1950-60 homes. The main part of the movie was filmed in and around Smithville, TX. But I suspect that this first scene was not shot in the area and I also suspect that the interior shot of the house was a different house than the outside shot of the neighborhood. I’ve been searching maps and areas of Austin, TX but this is driving me crazy!!! Can you find this place??? Good luck. And thanks for all of the other movie locations. I can share some with you as well by email.
